DORAL — Tiger Woods said his back feels good enough to play in the Cadillac Championship beginning today.
“I feel better; how about that?” Woods said. He said his bad back “comes and goes.”
The world’s No. 1 player withdrew from the Honda Classic after 13 holes on Sunday with back spasms. “It felt like I couldn’t move. … It got to a point where I couldn’t twist,” he said.
Woods, 38, had planned to play nine holes Wednesday morning, but he took a walking tour in the afternoon of the renovated Blue Monster course. He won’t play a practice round today and said he would only chip and putt to prepare for the week.
